About The Position

Tank’s Recycling & Landfill is a locally owned and operated Tucson company providing recycling and landfill services for construction, demolition, landscape, and inert materials. The Bagging Operations Laborer supports consistent, accurate production of bagged products and concrete blocks while maintaining quality, safe handling, and orderly pallets. The role is onsite in Tucson and works Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at $17 per hour. The typical shift begins with checking in with the lead about production targets. Most work takes place under a canopy, monitoring mix consistency, bag weight, and product presentation. The employee may also assist with outdoor block production, stage products, build accurate pallets, and keep walkways clear. Throughout the shift, the employee must remain alert around moving equipment, communicate production concerns, and leave the work area organized.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Willingness to work hard and follow supervisor direction.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
Comfort working under a canopy and outdoors in changing weather.
Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-minded approach.
Must pass a drug screening, including for marijuana.

Responsibilities

Bag soil mixes and other products under the canopy to exact standards.
Support outdoor concrete block production as needed.
Stack, label, and organize pallets accurately and handle materials safely.
Use material-handling equipment, including a forklift or skid steer, when assigned.
Monitor mix consistency, bag weight, and product presentation.
Keep walkways clear and the work area organized.
Communicate when production or safety issues arise.
