About The Position

The Operations Laborer safely and efficiently performs general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Work may include site and yard cleanup, fueling vehicles and equipment, operating general site vehicles and equipment, office maintenance, and other related duties. The position may also involve installing temporary wind fences and directing site traffic as needed. Responsibilities are not exhaustive and may change at the Company’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform assigned duties.
• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean tracks on track-type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
