About The Position

Festival Foods is hiring a part-time Bagger to provide a welcoming, efficient checkout experience for guests at its Verona, Wisconsin store. The role is part of the retail and grocery store team and focuses on guest service, careful bagging, and supporting checkout operations. The Bagger reports to the Guest Service Department Manager. The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the associate’s availability and store needs.

Requirements

Ability to create a welcoming environment and provide superior guest service.
Attention to detail when bagging items and maintaining product quality.
Ability to communicate effectively with associates and guests.
Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
Ability to operate necessary equipment.
Ability to stand in place for long periods, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and lift or push 15–20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds intermittently.
Fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests, providing a welcoming and helpful checkout experience.
Bag groceries according to procedures while maintaining product integrity and guest satisfaction.
Keep the checkout area clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
Share guest requests and feedback with the leadership team.
Provide prompt and courteous parcel pickup service.
Help maintain standards and meet quality expectations by 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
