About The Position

This role involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. A key aspect of the job is placing customer purchases into bags, then placing those filled bags into a cart. The bagger will also carry customer purchases to their cars, retrieve carts from the parking lot, and maintain cleanliness by picking up paper and debris in the store, parking lot, and from carts. Additional duties include stocking bags on check stands, emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, returning unwanted merchandise to shelves, reading and understanding shelf tags, and verifying prices. Other duties may be assigned by store management.

Requirements

16 years or older to apply
Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time
Able to work outside in seasonal weather
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)
Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
