About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Responsibilities include bagging customer purchases, placing filled bags in carts, carrying purchases to cars, retrieving carts from the parking lot, and maintaining store cleanliness by picking up paper and debris in the store, parking lot, and from carts. Additional duties include stocking bags on check stands, emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, returning merchandise left at check-out to shelves, reading and understanding shelf tags, and verifying prices of merchandise. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

• 16 years or older to apply
• Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time
• Able to work outside in seasonal weather
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)
• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview
