Airline Services Baggage Handlers/Ramp Agents are responsible for performing a wide range of aircraft ground support services essential to safe, efficient, and on-time operations. This role involves towing and marshalling aircraft, performing aircraft servicing, cleaning, and security searches, stocking aircraft and commissary carts, and loading/unloading luggage and cargo. The position also requires operating and fueling heavy motorized equipment, demonstrating physical ability and situational awareness around aircraft and ground support equipment, and providing customer assistance. General housekeeping, snow removal, and maintaining a clean work area are also part of the duties. Communication via two-way radio, telephone, and email is essential. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other departments for operational efficiency, maintaining a safe ramp environment by preventing Foreign Object Debris (FOD), adhering to all regulations (Airline, TSA, FAA), and being available for varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prompt reporting of accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions is required.
