About The Position

The Bag Drop / Range Attendant provides attentive and efficient customer service to our members on the golf range. This role involves bringing golf carts from the cart barn to the staging area, loading bags from customer vehicles onto carts, transporting and filling range ball containers, and operating a tractor with a ball picker to retrieve balls from the range. The attendant is also responsible for washing all range balls daily, returning carts to the shelter, cleaning them out, and parking them with chargers connected. Additionally, they observe and maintain the pace of play, report infractions, and carry and provide clean towels and water for ball washers, replacing them as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be familiar with the operations of a golf course and course etiquette.
• Must be able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work outside for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Bring golf carts from cart barn to cart staging area outside of the Golf Shop.
• Remove bags from customer vehicles and load onto carts.
• Transport range balls to each end of the range and fill appropriate containers.
• Operate tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
• Wash all range balls daily.
• Return carts to shelter; remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink containers, etc., from carts and save reusable items; wash cart with hose, dry it off, park cart in shelter, and connect charger cable.
• Observe and maintain pace of play.
• Report all infractions to the Golf Shop immediately.
• Carry and provide clean towels and water for ball washers.
• Replace towels and replenish water on ball washers.
