About The Position
Lead a high-impact bacon slicing operation on 1st shift. Build and coach a reliable, cross-trained production team. Make daily decisions that influence quality, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising in production or manufacturing
- Strong in people development and process improvement
- Comfortable with compliance standards and operational metrics
- Effective communicator
- Ready to lead on 1st shift (typically 5:00 AM start)
- Military leadership experience also translates well — we value structure, accountability, and calm problem-solving.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Train and coach team members on SOPs, expectations, and compliance
- Oversee daily operations: checklists, audits, KPIs, and issue resolution
- Ensure adherence to HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and safety programs
- Champion team recognition and cross-training efforts
