Backroom Processing Associate
About The Position
The Backroom Processing Associate supports store operations and delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to meet business needs. Responsibilities include accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting customer purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, and participating in store recovery and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
