About The Position
Vanguard is hiring a Backend Typescript Engineer, with a lead position also available. The role is hybrid, with three days per week onsite in Plano, Texas; relocation is accepted. The work is heavily backend-focused (approximately 60–70%), with occasional frontend work (approximately 30–40%) using React and Typescript. Initial responsibilities include technical discovery, solution design, and laying the foundation for future delivery and team scaling. Candidates will complete a Ropes Test behavioral and technical evaluation. H1B and CPT sponsorship are not available.
Requirements
- Experience with Node.js, with a backend focus.
- Experience with Typescript for backend development and some frontend work.
- Experience with DynamoDB.
Responsibilities
