We are currently searching for a Backend Tandem Dev.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience with Tandem systems (Guardian, OSS, Pathway, Webgate).
• Strong proficiency in Java SE (JDK 11+).
• Proven experience in low-level and legacy languages: C, COBOL, and TAL.
• Solid knowledge of Tandem-specific environments: Guardian and OSS.
• Expertise in web service protocols: SOAP/XML and REST/JSON.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/MP and SQL/MX databases.
• 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial industry.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in legacy-to-service modernization projects.
• Familiarity with high-volume transaction processing in financial environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations to expose business logic from the NonStop/Tandem platform via SOAP and REST web services.
• Modernize legacy modules written in COBOL, C, and Java, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and debug serverclass and batch components within the Tandem environment.
• Manage and optimize database interactions using SQL/MP and SQL/MX.
• Ensure secure data exposure for both internal and external consumption.
