About The Position

Brite Payments, founded in 2019, is a Swedish fintech leader in Instant Account-to-Account (A2A) payments. With connections to over 3,800+ banks, Brite enables consumers to pay directly from their bank account in real-time, without requiring signup or card details. Users authenticate using their bank’s usual ID method, offering convenience and security, while providing merchants with fast fund settlement, zero chargebacks, and reduced costs. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Brite operates across 27 European markets, utilizing local payment rails, open banking, and its proprietary Brite Instant Payments Network (IPN). This role is open due to team expansion to support business growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Deep expertise in Python.
• Solid background in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of distributed architectures and service-oriented systems.
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Security-conscious mindset – familiarity with encryption techniques and best practices.
• Experience working with highly scalable, transaction-intensive systems.

Nice To Haves

• Team leadership experience.
• Experience with Open Banking, PSD2, and financial integrations.
• Background in real-time payment solutions.
