About The Position

Requirements

• Hands-on development using C#/.NET
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, backend architecture, and data flow in complex environments
• Proven work on real-time or data-heavy systems involving concurrency and multi-threading
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenging production issues with a performance-first mindset
• Track record of building APIs, integrations, or data pipelines across evolving systems
• Solid system design skills, with the ability to think through scalability, latency, and failure scenarios
• Clear and confident communication skills in English, especially when explaining technical decisions

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to industrial, IoT, or oil & gas environments such as drilling or edge computing
• Familiarity with high-performance or low-latency systems that process streaming data
• Working knowledge of AWS, hybrid architectures, or early-stage containerization with Docker
• Involvement in modernization efforts, especially transitioning from monolithic to scalable systems
• Some exposure to C++ as a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend services that power real-time operational systems in oil & gas drilling environments
• Build APIs, integrations, and data pipelines to handle continuous, high-frequency data from physical equipment
• Tackle real-time challenges where latency, concurrency, and system reliability directly impact operations
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues while improving overall system performance
• Partner with distributed engineering teams through code reviews and architecture discussions
• Help evolve legacy systems (Windows services, WCF) into more modern, web-based and container-ready solutions
• Uphold high standards for security, data handling, and reliability in mission-critical software
