About The Position

One of our direct client is urgently looking for a Backend Engineer @ Sunnyvale, CA. This is a 6 to 12+ Months contract position. The role involves developing innovation strategies, processes, and best practices, driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects, and supporting business objectives. The engineer will lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects, including high-level design, and will lead a small group of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned projects. Responsibilities also include end-to-end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, orchestration, designing and implementing low latency services, and troubleshooting business and production issues. The role also requires promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

• Experience in programming in Java, Scala and Python
• Experience working with Apache Spark, Kafka
• Experience working with big-data pipelines
