About The Position
Gondor is building financial infrastructure for Polymarket, with a focus on enabling institutions and advanced traders to maximize capital efficiency through cross-margining. The Backend Engineer will join the founding team and contribute to both the protocol and product sides of the application. The role involves building onchain infrastructure for permissionless cross-margining and backend infrastructure for the Gondor web app. The company describes its product as an institutional financial primitive rather than a retail gambling product.
Requirements
- Experience building liquidation engines, oracles, and margin trading infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of DeFi lending protocols.
- Strong familiarity with smart contract security and exploits, and the ability to analyze attack vectors.
Nice To Haves
- Backend technology experience with Node.js (Express/Hono), SQL, REST, and GraphQL.
- Protocol technology experience with Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, Viem/ethers.js, and Privy.
- DevOps technology experience with Vercel, AWS/GCP, CI/CD, and Docker.
