About The Position
Gondor is building a margin account for Polymarket and aims to provide financial infrastructure that enables institutions and advanced traders to maximize capital efficiency in prediction markets. As a member of the founding team, the Backend Engineer will work on both the protocol and product sides of the app, building onchain infrastructure for permissionless cross-margining and backend infrastructure for the Gondor web app.
Nice To Haves
- Backend familiarity with Node.js (Express or Hono), SQL, REST, and GraphQL.
- Protocol familiarity with Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, Viem or ethers.js, and Privy.
- DevOps familiarity with Vercel, AWS or GCP, CI/CD, and Docker.
- Experience building liquidation engines, oracles, and margin trading infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of DeFi lending protocols.
- Strong familiarity with smart contract security and exploits, and the ability to analyze attack vectors.
