We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to help build and scale enterprise-grade applications that power critical business operations. You will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers across the organization to deliver high-quality software solutions from concept to production.

Requirements

3–5 years of professional experience developing backend applications using Python and Django
Experience building scalable, production-grade enterprise applications
Strong experience with AWS services, including: SNS SQS API Gateway Step Functions S3
Experience working with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code and other modern AI engineering assistants
Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and deliver products from ideation through production deployment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Passion for software craftsmanship, maintainable system design, testing, observability, and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

Experience with AWS Glue, S3, and cloud-based data pipelines for processing, transforming, and integrating large-scale business data
Experience working in retail and e-commerce organizations and applying AI solutions to areas such as inventory, fulfillment, customer experience, and financial operations

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Django
Build and maintain financial reconciliation data platform with AWS cloud services
Build reliable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications that support business growth
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver products end-to-end
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support
Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality
Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
