About the position
We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our team in Chennai. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end application services hosted out of Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust products and solutions for our clients. This role requires strong knowledge of programming languages such as .NET/C#, Node/TypeScript (JavaScript), understanding of database architecture and data models, and familiarity with RESTful APIs. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate back-end functionalities with user interfaces.
- Build and maintain efficient and secure database architectures.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
- Continuously learn new technologies and programming languages to stay up to date with industry trends.
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that may arise from the back-end infrastructure.
- Participate in the code review process and suggest improvements to optimize performance and functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- +3 years of proven experience
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as .NET/C#, Node/TypeScript (JavaScript)
- Understanding of database architecture and data models
- Knowledge about graphQL is desired
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
