About The Position

This is a temporary position expected to run from November 2026 through February 2027. While this position is being hired as temporary, staffing needs and opportunities can change. Temporary employees are welcome to apply for regular PPCW positions that become available during their assignment, and temporary employment has often provided a pathway into ongoing roles with PPCW. Continued employment beyond this temporary assignment is not guaranteed. In this role, you’ll be part of the clinical team supporting patients through their visit and helping create a safe, respectful, and efficient experience. You’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality sexual and reproductive health care while helping ensure every patient is treated with dignity and respect.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or high-volume environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and coworkers
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must be able to reliably work this schedule: Monday 11:30am–7:30pm, Tuesday 8:00am–4:00pm, Wednesday 10:30am–6:30pm, Saturday 7:30am–3:30pm

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Spanish language skills
• Experience in a medical setting or working directly with patients
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or CNA certification

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare them for their visit
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Assist with lab work, including specimen collection and processing
• Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and instruments
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and at ease
• Work closely with your team to keep the clinic running smoothly
