About The Position

Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring a Bilingual Spanish Back Office Clinic Assistant to join our East Portland Health Center team. In this role, you'll be part of the clinical team supporting patients through their visit and helping create a safe, respectful, and efficient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or high-volume environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and coworkers
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a medical setting or working directly with patients
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or CNA certification

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare them for their visit
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Assist with lab work, including specimen collection and processing
• Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and instruments
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and at ease
• Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish
• Work closely with your team to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Deliver high-quality sexual and reproductive health care
• Ensure every patient is treated with dignity and respect
