About The Position

Glint Tech Solutions is hiring experienced SAP OOABAP Backend Developers for a long-term contract opportunity extending through the end of 2026. This is an onsite role in San Antonio, TX, and local candidates are preferred. The development environment is S/4HANA. Heavy backend custom ABAP development experience is required. This role is specifically for backend developers and not for UI5/Fiori frontend or full-stack developers. Resumes must reflect strong technical hands-on ABAP work, and candidates should be able to communicate confidently about recent projects.

Requirements

• Hands-on ABAP custom application development
• Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
• CDS Views
• OData
• Adobe Forms Development
• RFC, BAPI, BADI
• Strong S/4HANA backend development experience
• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
• Heavy backend custom ABAP development experience
• Resume must reflect strong technical hands-on ABAP work
• Candidates should communicate confidently about recent projects

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to UI5 architecture
• Knowledge of TSW or IS-Oil modules
• Familiarity with latest S/4HANA coding standards and syntax

Responsibilities

• Develop complex custom ABAP solutions independently
• Build and extend applications within S/4HANA environment
• Work with technical and functional teams on solution design
• Create and manage Adobe Forms using LiveCycle Designer
• Resolve defects during testing phases
• Follow deployment and change management processes
• Understand application architecture and database structures
