We’re seeking a Back-end Engineer This role supports the design, development, and maintenance of secure, efficient server-side systems and APIs. This role collaborates with team members to implement features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable performance across applications.

Requirements

Experience with programming languages commonly used in back‑end development (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js) preferred
Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain APIs to enable secure and efficient data exchange between systems.
Develop and support server-side logic, services, and data structures.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user‑facing elements with back‑end systems.
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of new features under guidance from senior team members.
Implement basic security and data protection measures as directed.
Perform unit and integration testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and implementation details.
Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
Support project planning activities, including estimation, task coordination, and identifying dependencies.
