About The Position
An experienced Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of core business services and APIs. The primary focus is building robust, high-performance backends using Ruby on Rails. As the platform scales toward distributed microservices, the role will also interface with services written in multiple languages; hands-on experience or familiarity with Java and Go (Golang) is a distinct advantage. The position is based in Austin, Texas, with a hybrid work arrangement.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails backend development, including core business services, API development, and backend engineering.
- Java and Go (Golang) programming for multi-language service integration and backend development.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with Java and Go (Golang).
