The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and driving efficiencies in back-end operational activities, ensuring these operations do not negatively impact the customer experience. The supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring products are stocked and fronted according to planograms and that aisles are kept clear and neat. Additionally, they will drive the completion of activities that support an efficient and safe delivery process, such as picking and staging product for delivery. For the Night Operations Department Supervisor, this role involves being the primary key-carrying manager during the overnight shift. The position also includes Manager-on-Duty (MOD) responsibilities, providing full leadership over the store, driving engagement, customer service, staffing, and operational efficiency. This includes walking the store, coaching associates, ensuring specialty and pro areas are properly staffed, managing associate response to call buttons, validating that aisles remain clean and safe, and handing off shift observations to the next MOD. The MOD also funnels non-MOD activities to appropriate leaders and ensures accurate and efficient picking, packing, and shipping of parcel orders if applicable.
