About The Position

Nesco Resource is sourcing Back Builder Seat Assemblers for a client in Clinton Township, Michigan. The role involves assembling automotive seats using tools and technology and supporting a smooth production process. The employer specializes in designing, engineering, and manufacturing seating systems and components for commercial vehicles, aftermarket, and OEM applications.

This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime as needed, and pays $16.50 per hour. Associates must comply with health, safety, environmental, and ergonomic regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive seating units accurately and efficiently.
• Rotate between workstations to develop proficiency in different tasks.
• Identify and address nonconforming products to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Restock materials to support production flow.
• Monitor and report material shortages.
• Lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds.
• Operate hand-held pneumatic tools and assembly fixtures.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Follow safety protocols and promptly report concerns.
• Work collaboratively to meet production goals and deliver quality products.
• Stop production when a safety or quality issue arises.
