Requirements

Must be enrolled at an accredited university
Receiving credit for the internship
Be able to commute to the office as these are not remote internships
All internships are unpaid
Require flu vaccinations

Responsibilities

Conduct outreach with the team to people experiencing homelessness (PEH) (includes camps, parks, streets, shelters, and drop-in/engagement centers, and any other places PEH might be)
Case management tasks (completing benefit and housing applications)
Organizing donations
Supporting MHCGM's 450+ employees by providing excellent service and assistance in an approachable manner.
Helping new hires through the onboarding and orientation process.
Providing benefits to existing staff.
Supporting staff in achieving licensure and credentialing.
Processing payroll every two weeks.
Implementing a competitive recruitment and retention strategy.
Supporting the daily needs of staff and managers.
