About The Position
A Babysitter at Hillside Community Church provides safe and nurturing care for children, helping them experience God’s love while their parents participate in ministry. Babysitters serve under the direction of the Childcare Coordinator, model our Core Staff Values, and carry Hillside’s vision of seeing God’s hope transform our cities one story at a time.
Requirements
- Is an energetic, creative, team player who loves kids!
- Is flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances and environments.
- Ability to assess children’s developmental needs and meet them appropriately.
- 1–3 years of experience working with children
- 1–3 years of babysitting experience
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire; training available through Hillside)
Responsibilities
- Execute lesson plans provided by the Childcare Coordinator
- Supervise and actively engage with children at all times
- Arrive promptly and prepared for each scheduled shift
- Know and follow all Kids Ministry safety procedures
- Complete assigned Kids Ministry trainings
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for each room
