Jovie is a network of qualified nannies and sitters making an impact in their local community. With more than 20 years of experience, we provide nanny and sitter services across 37 states and nearly 200 locations nationwide. Our Chicagoland team is small, driven, and women-led—and we’re looking for friendly, reliable sitters to join us. Hiring part-time and full-time sitters for families living in: Highland Park, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Fox Lake, Lake Forest, Grayslake, Vernon Hills, Gurnee, Lincolnshire, Mundelein, Glenview, Northbrook, Park Ridge, Winnetka, Wilmette, and Evanston.
Requirements
- You are 18+
- You have prior childcare experience
- You have two weekdays available Monday–Friday
- You have reliable transportation. Suburban sitters need a personal vehicle
- You are dependable, communicative and caring
- You can pass a background check
- You have a CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain — we help!)

- Spanish-speaking is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Caring for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years (based on your experience)
- Creating fun, engaging activities — crafts, games, and imaginative play
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
- Helping with light clean‑up after meals and playtime
- Working with a variety of families — no two days are the same!
