About The Position

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented B2B Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Pittsburgh. In this role, you will focus on driving revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new commercial business opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to local, regional and national businesses, assessing their operational and security challenges and delivering tailored technology solutions.

Requirements

2–5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in commercial security, technology, or a related industrial/construction field, but not required.
Ability to learn complex security systems and comfortably conduct basic site surveys.
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willing to travel to client sites throughout assigned territories within the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with commercial real estate and business landscape is highly preferred, but not a deal breaker.

Responsibilities

Identify new opportunities: Prospect and develop new commercial business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
Build local networks: Develop strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, business owners, developers, and key decision-makers across the Pittsburgh region.
Represent the brand: Attend local networking events, trade shows, and industry association meetings to expand market presence.
Conduct discovery: Meet with prospective clients to deeply understand their unique operational and security challenges.
Collaborate on design: Perform site surveys and collaborate with our internal engineering and operations teams to develop customized solution designs.
Demonstrate value: Present and demonstrate advanced security technology solutions, tailoring presentations to address client pain points.
Manage the pipeline: Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring all activities, forecasts, and logs are accurately tracked in the company CRM.
Propose and negotiate: Prepare professional proposals, negotiate pricing and contract terms within company guidelines, and close new business while maintaining target profit margins.
Coordinate handoffs: Ensure a seamless transition of new accounts by coordinating smooth project handoffs to the operations team.
Team alignment: Participate actively in weekly sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and ongoing professional training.
Industry expertise: Stay current on local market trends, industry standards, and emerging security technologies.
