Culligan of DFW is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing a strategic sales plan to grow sales for commercial water products. We offer a wide variety of bottle-free coolers, along with other products, for office and business drinking water needs. Commercial Sales Representatives work as partners with their customers to determine the best water solutions for the needs of their business. Starting with a water analysis and a review of system requirements, the Representative can help customers increase the life span of their equipment, save money on water treatment chemicals, reduce downtime, and enhance water quality. Culligan is the company they call to improve their bottom line and build their business through increased customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience in an industrial or business-to-business situation
  • Business-to-Business cold calling experience
  • Self-starter with initiative and intuition
  • Familiar with consultative selling skills
  • Computer skills in most Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to produce self-generated sales each month
  • Well organized
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Burning desire to succeed
  • Strong business knowledge
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • High school diploma/GED required

Responsibilities

  • Growing the existing customer base
  • Prospecting on local businesses and new construction projects
  • Following up on incoming sales leads
  • Researching new building projects
  • Bidding on projects
  • Establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with engineers, contractors, construction managers, and business owners and operators
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Providing ongoing support
  • Handling service issues
