About The Position

We are seeking a proven B2B sales professional to grow our commercial bottleless cooler and Ice making business, bringing tailored drinking water solutions to offices, businesses, and organizations throughout our territories. This is a canvassing driven, new business development role, and prior B2B or outside sales experience is required. This is a field role. You will be driving to businesses and speaking directly with decision makers every day. Success is activity based, and high daily engagement is necessary to meet goals and earn commission. Culligan's RO bottleless cooler and Ice machines are a modern alternative to single use plastic water bottles, outdated water fountains, and 5 gallon cooler service. Prospects receive a no cost, no obligation onsite trial. Your main competition is a business's current status quo, not another vendor.

Requirements

• Proven B2B or outside sales experience required: canvassing, cold-calling, and self-generating a sales pipeline.
• Comfortable knocking on 50–75 commercial doors a day: office buildings, warehouses, salons, gyms, and businesses of all sizes and resilient in the face of rejection in a fast-paced, field-based role.
• Skilled at identifying key decision-makers and quickly building trust with business owners, office managers, and facility teams.
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and proof of insurability. Daily driving to different business locations within your territory is required.
• Comfortable using a tablet/iPad and a CRM platform (Salesforce preferred) to manage leads, track activity, and stay organized.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; confident conducting on-site demos, simple water/site assessments, and consultations.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-activity field role.
• Sales-driven and goal-oriented, motivated by quotas and performance incentives, with a demonstrated ability to close new business.
• Have the hustle mentality to knock on 50–75 doors a day and thrive in a fast-paced, field-based sales role.
• Skilled relationship builders who can identify decision-makers, build trust quickly, and recognize upsell opportunities over time.
• Eager to learn the technical side of Culligan's bottleless systems and able to position their sustainability and cost-saving benefits confidently.
• Independent workers with strong time management and CRM discipline, following through on every stage of the sales cycle from cold call to close.
• Polished and professional in demeanor and communication, comfortable being the face of the brand at a customer's place of business.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in water services, beverage, alarm systems, office supply, or other recurring-subscription B2B sales is a plus. Water treatment experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Canvass 50–75 businesses per day within your assigned territory.
• Meet a minimum monthly production requirement of $30,000 in revenue (ramped to $20,000/month for your first two months while you build your pipeline).
• Perform live, in-person canvassing and cold walk-ins, focused on decision-maker conversations (office managers, HR, facilities, safety).
• Conduct simple site assessments and water quality discussions, and confidently answer customer questions about the product.
• Push for on-site trial commitments — Culligan's no-cost, no-obligation trial program is the primary tool for converting prospects into customers.
• Conduct scheduled trial visits, follow-ups, and closing appointments; always schedule the next step before leaving a meeting.
• Manage business activity and results in your CRM; track key metrics and prepare tomorrow's route and targets.
• Coordinate with Service, Installation, and Scheduling teams to ensure a smooth customer experience, and follow up post-sale to identify upsell opportunities.
• Attend ongoing training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.

Benefits

• Base Salary + Commission: $45,000 to start, plus 15% commission on subscription contract value, paid out over the life of the contract (up to 60 months).
