B2B Marketing Manager - Business Development
About The Position
Most of our marketing speaks to patients. This role speaks to dentists. As Manager, B2B Marketing, you will own the marketing that generates awareness and qualified interest among dental practice owners, and delivers those leads to our Business Development team. You will be the marketing partner to Business Development, supporting dentists who are considering their transition, succession, or partnership options, and positioning 123Dentist as the partner of choice. This is a builder’s role. You will shape how 123Dentist is positioned with practice owners, develop the content, campaigns, and events that generate qualified leads, manage our agency partner on execution, and report performance end to end. There is no existing playbook to inherit; you will define it. If you are a strategic, hands-on B2B marketer who thrives on building programs from scratch and wants to be directly tied to the growth of a national organization, this role is built for you.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 or more years of progressive marketing experience, including 3 or more years in B2B demand generation, lead generation, or growth marketing targeting professional or owner-operator audiences
- Proven track record of generating qualified leads tied to revenue or deal targets
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo
- Experience developing content strategies for high-trust purchase decisions with long sales cycles
- Demonstrated success managing external agencies, including briefing, budget management, and performance accountability
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable defining KPIs, building reporting, and using data to reallocate budget and effort
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to align Marketing, Business Development, and executive audiences
- A strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Self-starter who is comfortable building new programs from the ground up in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment
- Solutions-oriented with a practical approach to delivering results under competing priorities

- Bilingual English and French is an asset given our national footprint including Quebec
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada for conferences, study clubs, and industry events
Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Development to translate annual clinic acquisition targets into a measurable B2B marketing strategy, including audience definition by region, specialty, and career stage, value proposition, and channel mix
- Own the full practice-owner lead funnel from awareness through inquiry, qualification, and handoff to Business Development, including lead scoring, nurture sequences, CRM hygiene, and SLAs between Marketing and the deal team
- Build and nurture lead sources beyond direct campaigns, including practice-transition brokers, accountants, financial advisors, dental associations, study clubs, and a peer-referral program that turns partner dentists into a source of introductions
- Develop a content program that positions 123Dentist as the partner of choice for practice transitions, including seller guides, valuation and succession-planning resources, dentist partner testimonials, webinars, and event content mapped to each stage of the practice-owner journey
- Produce the materials the Business Development team uses in owner conversations, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and the partner-with-us landing experience that converts interest into qualified inquiries
- Lead our external agency on brand positioning, campaign planning, and media execution for the B2B audience, owning briefs, budgets, timelines, and performance accountability
- Execute integrated campaigns across paid digital, email, organic and paid social, and industry publications, and partner with the Events team on BD-focused conferences and study clubs
- Define the KPI framework for acquisition marketing and report performance and insights to Marketing and Business Development leadership on a regular cadence
- Monitor the Canadian DSO and practice-transition landscape, competitor positioning, and dentist sentiment to sharpen messaging and identify new lead sources
- Ensure all B2B outreach meets Canadian requirements including CASL, PIPEDA, and provincial dental regulatory college advertising standards
- Collaborate closely with Brand, Regional Marketing, Events, Operations, Finance, and Business Development to keep B2B messaging consistent with the broader 123Dentist brand
