Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a lead role warehouse environment
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Safety training and compliance
  • Great Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Problem solving abilities with key focus on root cause analysis
  • Adaptable, Driven, Fast learner and Team work oriented
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervision, coworkers and others to achieve operational excellence
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Minimal supervision required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literate - Window base systems a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift Experience Minimum 1 year
  • Operational experience preferred
  • Understand SAP & experience working with a variety of WMS
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP Warehouse Management Systems
  • Bilingual, English & Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the production of all work orders/transfers under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
  • Ensuring work is produced correctly to the specifications of the Client.
  • Maintaining and/or surpassing the standard UPH (UPH per hour) and exceeding efficiency goals to satisfy client needs and demands, accurately with no errors.
  • Planning production in the area.
  • Ensuring all policy and procedures are followed by associates.
  • Verifying all work for accuracy.
  • Verifying correct product is pulled for production.
  • Verifying product produced is accurately produced, scanned, and staged for put-away.
  • Closing (or verifying closed) all work orders/transfers immediately following production.
  • Communicating all issues to Production Supervisor.
  • Working with IC and dock to maintain product flow in and out of the department.
  • Verifying all time sheets are filled out correctly.
  • Applying the Group Best Practices.
  • Working overtime on short notice as the business need arises.
  • Working on off days as the business need arises.
