About The Position

IT B2B Analyst partners with the business community and serves as a point of contact for IT-related activities. The Business Analyst analyzes requirements, defines options, scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. This is a customer‑facing role responsible for implementing, supporting, and sustaining B2B integration capabilities across the PSNA‑Converting IT organization. The position focuses on Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and third‑party portal solutions such as Ariba and SPS Commerce, ensuring seamless data exchange with external customers. In addition to operational support, this role may assist with or lead business‑driven initiatives and serve as a key business representative on technical projects requiring cross‑functional coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or other related discipline or related experience
  • 4-6 years’ relevant work experience
  • Proven success in delivering IT-enabled projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • EDI end‑to‑end testing, implementation guides
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to identify root causes
  • Organizational and documentation skills
  • Learn technically
  • Analyze business processes and resolve problems
  • Manage small to medium-sized IT projects
  • Effectively plan, organize, and drive the work using project management and business analysis techniques

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a liaison between the business and Information Technology on all IT-related requests. Represents the needs of the business to IT for business driven and IT/Enterprise driven initiatives. Focuses and coordinates the implementation of EDI across Converting IT business, with national accounts and large volume local customers.
  • Manage the implementation process for medium to complex EDI interfaces across multiple Order to Cash systems.
  • Own new EDI requests from initiation through completion, including requirements gathering, project coordination, functional analysis, mapping, testing, and customer onboarding.
  • Manages project completion by coordinating with the customer and business on the timeline & tasks
  • Completes functional process analysis, design, and testing of new and existing business processes
  • Develop mapping specifications and manage the implementation of core EDI transactions (850, 855, 856, 810, 997).
  • Facilitates connectivity setup, data mapping, data cleanup, etc. with other IT & business teams
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting by working closely with the customer
  • Creates Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for EDI projects.
  • Provides EDI training to plants & other business partners
  • Enables customer profiles in order management systems to use EDI
  • Act as a liaison with the business/process owner ITSS and other IT groups to coordinate the delivery of information technology solutions to the business.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing EDI integrations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and change management
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to collaborative IT/business solutions that enhance operational performance.
  • Delivers collaborative IT/Business solutions which further enhance our overall profit position within the industry.
  • Coordinate small to medium IT projects and serve as a team lead when required.
  • Responsible for training users on the EDI implementation SOP.
  • Understands and works within the framework of the Project Delivery Process (PDP) and the IT Operating Model.
