About The Position

This position is responsible for managing four key goals: safety, downtime, budget, and overtime. The role involves completing work orders and preventative maintenance, supervising the designated maintenance/production crew, tracking budgets, ensuring product quality, and scheduling maintenance crews and production orders. Additionally, the position requires maintaining logs and records for the maintenance department’s safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Resume must be submitted.
  • High school diploma required.
  • 3+ years of general maintenance experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills required.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred.
  • Experience in Industrial Maintenance and supervision is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders and preventative maintenance.
  • Supervise the designated maintenance/production crew.
  • Track budgets and ensure product quality.
  • Schedule maintenance crews and production orders.
  • Maintain logs and records for the maintenance department’s safety compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on: Frozen Block Grinders, Final Grinders, Blenders, Augers, and Conveyors.
  • Work with industrial equipment, including: Vemag portion control equipment, Tray Denesting equipment, Omori overwrap equipment, Delford weight price labelers, Ulma bag sealers, Pearson tapers, Bizzerba labelers, and various other industrial machinery.
  • Support team growth and drive continuous improvement within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other local/state regulations.
  • Instruct employees on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Implement ergonomic improvements within the facility.
  • Perform additional assignments as needed.
