About The Position

Primus Workforce Ltd. is seeking experienced B pressure Welders for day and night shifts in Fort Sask, Alberta. We are a growing and dynamic company providing safety-minded, experienced personnel support in the oil & gas, construction, and technical trades sectors.

Requirements

• Journeyman welder or Red Seal Ticket
• F3/F4 and F6/F4 for piping, and CWB all position required
• B-Pressure Ticket
• Fall Protection
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers
