B Outbound Distribution Lead
About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the outbound distribution process. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, receiving and managing inventory, and accurately picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products. The position requires maintaining logs, adhering to the FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) standard for moving materials, and assisting the distribution supervisor in managing labor and quality standards. The worker will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment. This role requires the ability to operate a forklift, attend daily meetings, monitor production goals, and utilize Blue Yonder systems. A positive, solution-based attitude and attention to detail are crucial for success.
Requirements

- High School Diploma/GED required
- Must be able to read, write, basic English communication
- Initiative-taker; Ability to make sound decisions

- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems when making decisions
- Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with subordinates as well as all levels of management and cross-functional team
- Must pass the forklift written test and driver test that is given by the company
- Basic math skills

Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Receiving materials and products
- Picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack
- Maintaining receiving/shipping logs
- Ensuring incoming and outgoing products and materials are in good condition
- Moving materials to the production area using the FEFO standard
- Assisting the distribution supervisor in ensuring labor is on task and all quality standards are met
- Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
- Operating a Forklift in a safe manner
- Reporting to assigned shift promptly
- Attending daily start-up meetings
- Continually monitoring progress against production goals and reassigning labor as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Utilizing Blue Yonder systems as instructed to ensure proper movement of product in FEFO order
- Demonstrating and promoting a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives
- Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail
- Promoting and ensuring a safe work environment
- Maintaining housekeeping standards with attention to detail
- Delivering quality products and services through adherence to company standards and operating procedures
- Staying on task, performing essential job duties, with an elevated level of accuracy
