About The Position
ZipStaff is hiring an Azure Transformation Architect for a client that is a global IT services and consulting firm. This senior Cloud Ops role focuses on Azure IaaS/PaaS architecture, operations, and migration. The position follows a hybrid schedule with three days per week onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a six-month W2 contract.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Azure architecture experience, including IaaS, PaaS, Site Recovery, SSO, and IAM.
- Experience with MS SQL Server, VSTS/Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, JSON/ARM templates, Visual Studio, and PowerShell.
- Azure Windows Server administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Azure AI / Generative AI.
- ITIL knowledge and global client-facing experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and support Azure IaaS and PaaS environments, including storage, backup, networking, and disaster recovery.
- Configure and troubleshoot Application Gateway, Web Apps, CDN, Azure SQL, AD authentication, and Key Vault.
- Support AKS, Service Fabric, Container Registry, and Service Bus workloads.
- Evaluate migration costs, select environments, right-size virtual machines, and integrate on-premises and cloud solutions.
- Manage service requests, incidents, and changes in ServiceNow within a 24x7 operations environment.
- Create standard operating procedures and work instructions for the team.
