About The Position

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports state agency business operations through various services. This position, an ITS 14, functions as an MDHHS Azure DevOps and Tools Administrator within the Agency Support department. It will incorporate the DTMB DevSecOps methodology into its tools and platforms. The role provides technical expertise for the MDHHS Azure DevOps and Containerization Tool Stack, specializing in the support and administration of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Projects for MDHHS and Azure DevOps Projects for MDHHS. It also supports integrations with IIS, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, and Oracle.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
  • Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
  • An associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, mathematics or equivalent; and at least two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
  • Completion of high school and at least three years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
