About The Position
This is a remote position for an Azure Databrick Engineer. The client would prefer future full-time conversion but it is not guaranteed. Visa sponsorship will not be provided now or in the future.
Requirements
- Native Databricks technologies
- Metadata-driven ingestion framework
- Databricks Integration Experience
- Databricks notebooks, Spark workloads, or structured pipelines
- Azure Databricks strongly preferred
- Data Warehousing and Relational Database Design - Data warehouse design (facts/dimensions, ingestion patterns)
- Clear documentation of schemas, ETL flows, and data mappings
- SQL + SSIS development skills
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Integrating ETL pipelines into Databricks for transformation/analytics
- Supporting operational and analytics workloads
- Building, optimizing, and supporting SSIS-based ETL pipelines
- Writing complex SQL / T‑SQL (stored procedures, functions, performance tuning)
- Troubleshooting ETL failures and performance bottlenecks
