About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise cloud-based database and application architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure SQL Managed Instance, cloud migration, and modern data platforms across Azure, AWS, and GCP. Experience in the Life & Annuities Insurance domain is a plus.

Requirements

• 16–19 years of experience in Database, Solution, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication and architecture documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the Life & Annuities Insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud database architectures using Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from legacy systems to Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Optimize database performance, scalability, and availability.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance for cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout design, development, and deployment.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, disaster recovery, and performance requirements.
• Create architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards.
