About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6-month contract position where you will be a key development resource on the Information Security Data Operations team. You will act as a technical liaison between Data Owners, Enterprise Information Protection, and Security Engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and developing the data ingestion pipeline for a new Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse, ensuring adherence to internal IT SDLC agile processes.

Requirements

10 years of experience in data engineering or a related senior-level role
Proven experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks
Relevant Azure certifications

Responsibilities

Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies
Analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of data sources required for the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse
Develop data pipelines and implement data lakes
Ensure data security and compliance
Function as a development resource and a technical liaison between various data, information protection, and security engineering teams
Provide routine updates to the project sprint schedule and adhere to internal IT SDLC agile processes
