About The Position
Seeking an experienced Azure Cloud & GitHub Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks on Microsoft Azure and GitHub. The role focuses on Azure DevOps-to-GitHub migration, GitHub Enterprise administration, and advanced GitHub Actions platform engineering. The engineer will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery, improve system reliability, and enforce security and compliance standards. The position includes leading migration initiatives, developing enterprise-wide GitHub Actions frameworks and reusable workflow standards, automating pipeline generation, managing GitHub Enterprise governance, and implementing secure Azure-GitHub integrations. It also supports enterprise repository management, organizational policies, and platform automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Azure DevOps-to-GitHub migration, GitHub Enterprise administration, and advanced GitHub Actions platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud or Server administration.
- Extensive experience creating and managing GitHub Actions workflows using YAML.
- Deep understanding of GitHub Apps, OAuth Apps, and GitHub authentication models.
- Experience with OIDC federation, Azure Entra ID, Service Principals, and RBAC.
- Knowledge of enterprise governance, including Entra ID SSO integration, MFA enforcement, branch protection rules, repository rulesets, secret scanning, Dependabot, and least-privilege access controls.
- Knowledge of Azure App Services, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure API Management, Key Vault, Managed Identities, Azure Networking and Security, and infrastructure deployment through GitHub Actions.
- Skills identified in the posting: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitHub services, CI/CD, branching strategies, Git, and orchestration.
