About The Position

The Azure Administrator - SI plays a critical role in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure within a systems integration environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Azure cloud services that support business applications and operations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and optimize Azure resources while adhering to best practices and compliance standards. The Azure Administrator will also monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement automation to improve operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role ensures that cloud environments are robust, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals to support seamless business continuity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or similar cloud operations role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working within a systems integration (SI) environment.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes on Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

  • Maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Participate in capacity planning and cost management to optimize cloud resource utilization.
