We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our team out of our Etobicoke location (43 Bethridge Rd, Etobicoke).
This is a full-time position for drivers with a minimum of 2 years driving experience - flatbed experience or hauling steel an asset. Our routes are within Ontario, ensuring you're home every night and off on weekends.

Requirements

• Valid AZ license - Clean CVOR & Drivers Abstract
• Clean Criminal record check, driving record check, medical exam, drug test
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Must pass a Pre-Employment road test and other pre-employment testing requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, throw up to 20 lbs, and climb on trailers repeatedly
• Ability to work day shift - start times vary day to day
• Sound knowledge of safe driving practices
• Strong work ethic and attention to safety

Nice To Haves

• flatbed experience or hauling steel an asset
• Previous experience working hauling flatbed or steel is an asset

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks to transport steel and related materials.
• Secure cargo using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Manually tarp loads when necessary.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Climb onto trailers and manipulate materials as required.
• Complete Electronic log book, inspection reports, accident / incident reports
• Other duties as assigned
