About The Position

Mars Environmental, a division of the Bluewater Recycling Association, based in Huron Park (near Exeter), has an immediate opening for the position of AZ Driver. Reporting to the Mars Operations Manager, as a Driver you will be a key player in the operation of one of the Association's waste and recycling vehicles.

Requirements

• Possess an AZ licence
• Have a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract.
• At least 2 years of recent experience driving a DZ or AZ class vehicle full time.
• 1 year of experience operating a roll off or front end collection vehicle.
• Have an enjoyable personality with an ability to communicate with the public.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated vehicle on scheduled route, stopping to collect all Solid Waste and/or Recyclable Material using either a front end truck, roll off truck, residential side loader or tractor trailer.
• Deliver collected items to material recovery facility or to the landfill and dump compartments in designated areas.
• Operate the scale and record gross, tare, and net weights.
