About The Position

Prophix is looking for a dedicated AWS Partner Account Manager to build and own the commercial partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Turning our AWS presence into a compounding revenue channel that the sales team actively relies on to source, accelerate, and close deals. You will manage our AWS Marketplace presence end-to-end, enable the sales organization to transact through it, and navigate AWS partner programs to unlock funding, co-sell support, and technical resources.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing a strategic partnership with AWS for a software company (ISV)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Marketplace — including Marketplace Private Offers (MPPO), and co-sell programs — or a strong desire to develop deep expertise quickly.
  • Existing relationships within the AWS Partner organization (PDMs, PSMs, ISV Success Managers) that have translated into joint pipeline activity, co-sell engagement, or field collaboration preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage partner relationships and drive measurable revenue through a channel or marketplace motion.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Comfort working independently with a high degree of ownership.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and with external partner contacts.
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working within or alongside an AWS alliances team — either as an Alliance Manager, or in a related hyperscaler partner role.
  • Familiarity with co-sell programs across other cloud/software marketplaces (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud, Salesforce AppExchange) is a plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, partner data review, or pipeline reporting.
  • Experience with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
  • Understanding of financial or accounting software concepts is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue through AWS: you will own the AWS Customer Engagement (ACE) pipeline, registering opportunities to gain AWS sales support and co-sell credit.
  • End-to-End Relationship Ownership: own the full AWS partnership lifecycle, working closely with AWS Partner and Field Teams to uncover new opportunities, progress pipeline, and drive ACV through Marketplace transactions.
  • Marketplace Operations: lead the strategy for our AWS Marketplace listings, including managing Marketplace Private Offers (MPPO), optimizing product pages, and ensuring seamless transaction processing for our customers.
  • Program Management: Navigate through specialized programs like AWS ISV Accelerate, ensuring we meet all technical and business requirements.
  • Funding & MDF: identify and secure Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and sales incentives to offset the costs of joint marketing campaigns and customer proof-of-concepts.
  • Internal Enablement: act as the internal subject matter expert for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations building the internal case for the AWS partnership motion, embedding Marketplace qualification into the sales processes, and equipping teams to close deals through AWS channels.
