About The Position
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps / Product Support Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, application deployments, production operations, and technical troubleshooting for a hybrid environment in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, along with a solid background in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, production support, automation, and incident resolution.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting production applications and cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployments, and application support.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts.
- Ability to work effectively with development and infrastructure teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain applications and infrastructure hosted in AWS.
- Design, provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Monitor production environments and proactively identify performance, availability, and infrastructure issues.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
- Participate in incident management and provide timely resolution for critical production issues.
- Support application deployments, releases, upgrades, and configuration changes.
- Automate repetitive operational and deployment processes.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, QA, and other technical teams to resolve production issues.
- Investigate root causes of incidents and implement preventative solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures.
- Follow DevOps best practices for reliability, scalability, security, and automation.
- Support continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
