Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ph.D.: 0+ years of experience required.
  • Master's Degree: 3+ years of experience required.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree: 5+ years of experience required
  • 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a BS degree
  • Proven, practical experience coding with Terraform and exposure to Terragrunt.
  • Hands-on experience in O&M / DevOps operations, specifically building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or cloud computing
  • Security + or higher
  • Cloud certification from any of the major Cloud providers, AWS Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, refactor, and deploy multi-account AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt across GovCloud and Commercial regions. To cover but not limited to patches, updates, bug fixes, outages, security exposure
  • Maintain and monitor the AWS organization across GovCloud and Commercial and the support tools within (ie Gitlab, runners, Keycloak, CEGA routers etc)
  • Ability to work with the infrastructure team to quickly remediate security concerns that have been identified by Security tools, ISSOs, or MDT
  • Monitor operational health, compute runtimes, network routing (Transit Gateway, AWS Network Firewall), and perimeter rules (AWS WAF).
  • Maintain and manage all admin and user guides for the operations of the system.
  • Maintain centralized logging pipelines and enforce S3 Object Lock (WORM) and lifecycle policies (S3 Standard to Glacier) in a dedicated Logarchive account.
  • Support other teams with technical issues/questions that may arise while operating within the environment
