About The Position

SnapSoft is seeking a senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the technical delivery of complex cloud migration and modernization programs for clients across North America. The role covers engagements from assessment and mobilization through large-scale migration and modernization, including AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) work. Approximately 80% of the role is focused on project delivery and reviewing SOWs and project contracts; around 20% is dedicated to pre-sales, with the remaining time supporting practice and operational work. The architect will lead distributed teams of one to four engineers and manage the technical roadmaps of two to three engagements in parallel. The role includes designing cloud-native AWS architectures, making technical decisions within project scope, addressing escalations and production incidents, and representing SnapSoft in client and AWS stakeholder sessions. The position reports to an Engineering Manager based in Europe and collaborates with US- and Budapest-based engineers, as well as colleagues in AI/ML and Application Development. The role is fully remote from Latin America, specifically Argentina or Brazil, and requires a few hours of daily overlap with Central European Time and North American client hours. Occasional business travel may be required for strategic customer engagements.
